Day 26: RED,
I had a hard time with this color and it won't be the last time I have a hard time with red. I just can't seem to communicate the vibrant energy of red with my camera. I drove around looking for RED I walked in one of the many playgrounds took a few shots of the red slide and it did show a lot of energy on my camera but if you remember yellow it has been done before by me. I kept looking and in the back of my mind I had an idea so I just kept looking until I came across this cool looking barn. A muted red but still RED. I sat across the road and took the pictures from my car. I didn't want to trespass or get hit by a car. I zoomed in and snapped away. I have to say she was a very good model.
Day 27: Clock,
As soon as I read the email on this one I knew right where I was going to find my clock. In the late afternoon I took a ride over to this little quaint town parked a block away from the clock and took a little walk, and I do mean little. I didn't even try to get fancy with this picture. I like this clock a lot and it catches my attention every time we drive by it so I figured I didn't need to get artsy or fancy, I just needed to show you what I see. I am not sure if it is me or my camera but no matter how I tried I was not able to get the full length of the clock and show the intricate details of the clock. So I opted for a close up of the clock itself.
Day 28: Back Lighting,
Okay I admit it I had to go to my photography group and ask for help. Even then the concept was just not grabbing hold of me. I tried all kinds of things at all different times of the day on a dozen different settings. Everything I was using was glass colored glass all bright and beautiful but not enough substance to be a good example of back lighting. I have some yellow flowers growing just outside my back door and I kept looking at them until finally I said to myself what the heck. In the email one of the examples was a flower and I try not to copy the emails using my own ideas. So first I tried taking a picture of all the flowers outside with the sun shining through them. Nope not happening so I take a single yellow flower put it in my favorite blue vase. I laid a piece of yellow material on a table in front of a window and as far as I am concerned magic happened.
I have to say if nothing else this project is helping me to get out and walk and get a little fitness back in my life. So far it has been a lot of fun doing this project and at times it does give me a real challenge getting the picture I want, I think it is the challenge I like the best. I do giggle at myself sometimes because I have turned into one of those people that goes no where without a camera.
Day 23, Favorite fruit or Vegetable.
The timing at times with some of the projects seems to be almost like magic. This is one of those times I just happened to have my favorite looking fruit on the counter and it hadn't been cut up yet. I played with that thing all day looking for the perfect look. Everywhere I went I took it with me. I must have looked slightly crazy taking my pineapple for a walk in the park. In the end I got my picture on my back deck.

I love the way pineapples look. I think they are one of the most interesting looking fruits around.
Day 24, Fabric.
Once again the timing was perfect on this. The examples the email had were of thread and yarn. The suggestion was that we not just use a piece of material but to think about fabric in different ways. I was drawing a blank all morning, until I started hanging out the wash. All that kept going through my heads " the fabric of our life" it just kept rolling around and wouldn't stop until I took a few pictures and there it was "Fabric"
Day 25, Portrait.
This was a work of love. I loved every minute I spent on this one. Madeline is always a lot of fun to hang out with she is just an absolute bundle of joy. I told her what I wanted to do and set up a chair for her in the best light I could find and gave her a book and one of her dolls and then I sat across from her and we talked and giggled for a while then I started taking pictures. The hardest part was getting her to not say cheese and not to smile all the time (well fake smile). After a few shots she settled into reading her book and talking to me as if the camera wasn't even there. I got some great pictures. Even still it wasn't hard to pick my picture for this project. As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. Everyone I asked agreed with me so here it is
As you have already read I was having a bugger of a time getting this technique accomplished. No matter what I did I was not getting the effect I wanted or needed. So after more then 200 tries I gave up and moved on.Purely by accident on day 22 I took not one but 3 pictures that where perfect examples of F.O.D.I didn't know it until I got home and looked at my pictures. Lucky for me I was only using a few settings that day. I can now take picture using this technique,it requires effort and more then a few tries but I can do it. For my picture I chose the first one I took. It was an accident but it is the best example simply because the picture is so pretty.
Day 21 Tree,
I only had to walk out my front door for this assignment. Our property is covered in trees. If you ask Madeline where Grandmama lives she will answer you "In the trees". Finding the tree I liked the best, well that was a little harder. I love most of the trees we have. As I walked around camera in hand looking in every direction I was not seeing anything that was striking me as WOW I am a TREE. Maybe because they are familiar and I look at them everyday I just couldn't see them who knows. All I know is I couldn't get the picture I wanted surrounded by trees. I was just getting ready to take a walk when I glanced over at my neighbors yard and there it was. This tree was cut down about 4 years ago and it still screams I AM A TREE! I see so much when I look at the tree and this picture. I almost can here it talk and see it move like in the Wizard Of Oz.
Day 22 Choice
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and while I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted my final picture to be, I knew where and what I wanted to take pictures of. So I headed off to Smithville State Park for a hike and some one on one with nature. Just me and my camera. I took a lot of pictures that afternoon. The 22nd picture was going to be my choice and I knew when I took it. I could have stopped there and went home, but I really didn't want to. A hike sounded good and I really wanted to take some more pictures so I kept going and did the 2 mile trail (give or take 2 miles) I took 62 more pictures and had a wonderful time. I didn't just aim and shoot I took my time looked at what I wanted to picture and set myself up to get the picture I wanted. In some areas I had to stay on the trail and get the best picture I could because it was against the rules to walk into the woods, in other areas I was able to get off the path to get the best angle or view. For my Choice photo I almost missed it. I was taking a picture of some unusual looking branches and was moving around to get a better shot when the sun caught the web in its rays and sparkled right into my view. I took 4 pictures standing in the same spot to make sure I actually got the web. It was so hard to see in the view finder. The first shot was the best, but the other 3 were real good too. I was so pleased with my day, a great walk and an album full of pictures I am proud of.
Day 18 is missing because of camera limitations. The assignment was "Field Of Depth" My camera is a fancy point and shoot with a lot of settings all designed to eliminate all blur. There is no F-stop or A setting for me. That didn't keep me from trying. I took over 200 shots using every setting in every combination, I tried it here, I tried it there, I tried it every where, but a picture with blur I just could not get. So I moved on to the next picture and put a 2nd hand 35mm digital camera on my Christmas list.
Day 17 One Bright Thing/Yellow
I thought about this one all day. At this time of the year with all the sun flowers around you would think the answer would be obvious right? Well that was the problem it was the easy answer. I took pictures of a real school bus, nope just not right, I took pictures of the fisher price school bus Madeline likes to pull around, nope not it. Then just by chance I took my camera with me to meet Madeline at a play ground and there it was big as life. One Bright Thing Yellow. What a fun time we had and now it is known as the yellow playground.
I only had to go up the road about 10 or 15 houses to find one of the few landmarks in Hainesport. I know it as Mr Corns house on Creek rd,but in 1788 it was Cyrus Moore's House on Boars Head rd. I didn't know any of this until I was taking the pictures and chatting with Mr Corn. The Moores owned a large amount of land in the area, and the house I was picturing was one of the sons of Mr Moore. Mr Moore's house the original house is also still standing and in good order actually quite beautiful with a few acres still being used to grow corn and soy beans.
I used the setting that gave me as much control as this camera allows and adjusted my ISO and lighting control as I needed with each shot. Domino was such a good model and every shot was good. Focused, clear, and crisp with life like color. Even still it wasn't hard at all to pick the picture. There was only one that said SHADOW!
I don't drink coffee so there is no personal meaning to me. I am however learning from the food photography group to us my setting and natural light. I have a hard time taking good pictures inside. So I decided to use my cup of Joe as practice for indoor shooting. I tried all window exposures and I played with my ISO a setting I knew nothing about until a few women in the photography group explained how to use it. My pick for the final picture was taken in front of a mirror not near any windows at all. I used ISO 400 and got a good clear picture. I think it says "coffee just gotta have some"

I thought day 5 was the hardest thing ever until I got to day 6. Day 5 was symmetry. There is symmetry everywhere so you would think it would be easy. It wasn't and a lot of other pojecter's felt the same way about this theme. It just isn't easy to portray symmetry. Try it for yourself. I tried different subjects, angles, and light something was always just off,or wrong. Mostly what happened was something else would manage to be in the frame and the symmetry would get lost. It took me all day to get my picture and even after I had it I was unsure of it and myself. I came up with 3 pictures that actually screamed symmetry making it hard for me to pick just one. In the end I did and this is it.

When I framed this shot I saw symmetry just about every where you looked in the screen. When I loaded it up on the computer and I could see it better I was pleased with my self that I had caught with the camera what I had seen with my eyes. I really like that there are angles of symmetry in this photo as well as shadows of symmetry. Every where you look symmetry.
So now you heard how difficult it was to do day 5,well day 6 that one was even harder. How do you shot winter on a warm almost hot summer day. Professionals do it every day,I am the first to say I am not a professional. I had an idea however I went looking in the barn for the props I would need and then went looking for the perfect spot to get a picture of winter in the heat of the summer. I tried this that and the other and nothing was coming together. I tried in the shade, late afternoon, and dusk, inside, up against a white wall. I tried every setting on my camera. Nothing worked. I was giving up and going to just use the best shot I got whatever that was, and believe me there was no best shot. As I was putting my props back I saw one of my snow children peeking out from behind the shelf and I knew I was on to something so I grabbed the snow child my sled and headed to the sand box. Nothing says winter better then sledding at least not to me. I had been using the sled in all my pictures and it wasn't coming through as winter. Most likely because the sled is modern and not an old fashion wooden one with red handles. Anyway my idea was going to work I just knew but it was to dark and I wasn't getting the effect I wanted so I gave up. Until morning that is I cheated a little and got my day 6 done on day 7. I needed the softness of the morning light and since my themes don't get here until after 10 am I can't get early morning light until the next day. I still wasn't able to get the effect I wanted, I was at least a lot happier with the pictures I took in the AM then anything i had done the day before. I was trying to make the sand look white enough to pass for snow. It just didn't work that way. Well have a look and tell me what you think. Did I make you think of winter.
I had to spend my afternoon walking a trail in the woods. I have to say while it was a beautiful day perfect for walking in the woods I was a little tense at being alone in the woods. Not sure why but I was just short of scared.
Once I got to the lake I realized you couldn't just walk up to the waters edge and walk along its banks, there was way to much foliage for that. I wasn't walking away with out at least on picture of the water. I stood on a park bench that was there and looked up down and all around the body of water and saw nothing,no reflection, or ripples nothing that smacked me in the face and said water. As I stepping down from the bench I saw a small opening in all that beautiful green foliage that was just wide enough for me to step into. I stepped in and again no smack in the face. I felt something under my foot that gave me an idea. I aimed focused and set my camera settings then I bent down and pick up the good size stone under my foot and threw it in the water aiming for the spot I had focused my camera on. Then I just started taking pictures of the ripple. It work well and I got 3 or 4 picture before the water went completely still again. I like every shot I took, focused, framed and good color. Just in case I was wrong and didn't like or they weren't as good as I thought I took a couple of back up pictures of water being poured. I didn't do that one so well to much light and bad angles as well out of focus. I did take a picture of water running in a drinking fountain and I did like that one a lot also but
I liked this one so much more. There is just so much to choose from. While I was thinking about it and planing my picture I came up with 3 ideas all involving trees in one form or another.
My first idea was leaves we have some real beautiful leaves around our yard and there was this one leaf that kept calling to me through the window.
My second idea was the tree itself there is just so much texture in the bark. We are surrounded by trees and I never get tired of looking at them. The many different styles of bark is so interesting.
My third idea was the wood it self. It was raining yesterday and the ends of the wet fire wood were so eye catching with their rings and variation of colors.
I took a handful of pictures of all 3 ideas. When I took the picture that I knew in my heart was the one I didn't stop I finished all the ideas I had. I was right all 3 ideas gave me some stunning pictures and any one of the ideas would be a good one,but there could only be one. When I loaded up my pictures I knew in a glance which picture it would be. I was absolutely right about the picture when I took it. It was the one
The leaf, an entire tapestry of texture.chachijoanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05068138691691573779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847853833099842069.post-21817393141835639252012-08-27T07:03:00.000-04:002012-08-27T07:03:14.702-04:00Project 365/Day 2 CloudsDay 2 was clouds. Easy right? Wrong! The first two pictures were just what we aren't suppose to do. I just aimed and shot. The result was pretty pictures of trees with clouds behind them. After picture 1 and 2 I stopped and did what we are suppose to do,think about the shot plan the shot. I took a walk around the neighborhood looking for a fluffy white cloud that wanted its picture taken. I took about 10 pictures on that walk. One of them was pretty good and I thought I had my picture.
I actually liked all 10 of the photos but I didn't love any of them. I went for a ride to the grocery store with out my camera and all I could see was clouds. I did however have my Iphone. I took 3 pictures in the parking lot and they looked pretty good. I really liked the lighting behind them,to bad they weren't in frame. When I got home from the store I took a walk all the way out back with my camera in hand. As soon as I looked up at the sky I saw it,I took my time thought about it and pictured it and then I took my shot.
Each day I am given a suggestion and I need to take a picture of that suggestion.
Yesterday was windows. I took 21 pictures of three different windows to get the one perfect shot. well if not perfect then at least good. My hope is that by this time next year I take less shots and I do get the perfect picture. A person can dream. Anyway here is the picture I picked as being my best shot.

I was thinking about putting all 21 pictures up for your viewing pleasure. That just seemed like to much so I am going with "and the winner is" kind of style and only showing the picture I pick for the project.
I have checked my email twice already this morning I just can't wait to see what I am photographing today.chachijoanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05068138691691573779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847853833099842069.post-56653958203012154242012-07-31T07:38:00.000-04:002012-07-31T07:38:10.072-04:00FRIENDS!In this day and age of computers, I pads and so many other means of social communications, it is not unusual to have friends you have never meet. Well never meet in person that is. Some times it seems the people we chat on line with, share pictures, and stories with we get to know them almost better then the friends we see regularly. If not better at least just as well. You find your self thinking about them, worrying about them, wondering how this that or the other went. Before you know it these images on the screen, the words you read, and the voices you hear thanks to skype become real and important people in your life. Distance and even language is no longer a barrier to making friends. Thanks to the internet any one can be friends with any one.
We all met on a recipe web site. It started out harmless enough. LOL since when is 20 some women chatting all together harmless? We were able to share recipes and chat a little on that site and every day we did,but we wanted more so a face book page was made. The 20 of us would gather there and we shared so much, stories about our families, pictures of everything from our kids to our gardens. We skyped when we could, had cyber parties and in general enjoyed a great friendship. We did some good while we were at it and raised money among ourselves for hurricane victims and for a child at Christmas. As with all good things our group came to an end. We didn't stop being friends we just stopped meeting on the page, we got busy, lives change, things happen. We still follow each other through blogs, and a quick chat here and there. A comment on a photo or recipe that sort of thing. Some keep in touch more with this one or that one and less with others but we are all still friends.
Well thanks to Allrecipe.com and its 15TH birthday celebration 5 of us got the chance to meet. We all flew into Seattle WA from all over the country. Well Laurie lives in WA so she didn't get to fly. She got to be the hostess and guide.
It was like we had seen each other every day of our lives when we at last came face to face. There was no awkwardness or uncomfortable silences. It was all smiles and laughter. We were in Seattle for a reason and had things to do and many many new people to meet as well as friends to make, but we spent as much time together as possible. We shared a few meals together, took in some of the sites together and made memories to last us a life time. Most of all we were just so happy to be together. We talked about the great weather, how beautiful Seattle was and we talked about how lucky we were to see it together.
When I left Seattle Saturday morning bright and early while everyone else still slept, I didn't feel sad or like I would miss these wonderful ladies, because I knew I would see them real soon. Well last evening I got an answer. As I was going over my blogs looking at this and doing that, Madeline came and stood by my side looking at the computer screen. " What is that Granmama?" She sees a picture of herself and climbs in the chair with me and says "read it to me" pointing at the blog about her birthday cake. You know I didn't need to be asked twice I read her the blog with great pleasure. When I am finished she looks up at me and simply says "More". My heart swells so big at this point I not sure my chest won't just explode on the spot. By the time shes had enough we have read 8 of my blogs and she liked everyone of them even the ones not about her. This makes me one proud and Happy Granmama.
I have felt that I was to old and to antisocial to want or need an Iphone. So not true, while I get a total of 3 phone calls a week this tool is so much more then just a phone. I have found a dozen uses for it already and I have only had it 4 days now. God forbid I go take the apple class on how and what this phone can do,I would become a true techno nerd.
So far I have found the games, camera, and reading my email, as well as sending links to my blogs. The camera in this phone seems to work so much better then my actual camera, that in itself is worth more then money. If you follow all my blogs you know already my photography is less then good. This phone seems to make picture taking a lot easier and photo editing sites less necessary. Let me show you what I mean.
clear clean pictures in one shot. To get this result with my camera I need to take at the very least 3 shots and odds are I still won't have a good picture.
For me the camera alone is worth the money. So the weather forecast, and other free apps that I have yet to use are like icing on the cake, making me one happy IPhoner.
Well its true you never do forget.
Madeline spent the night this past weekend much to our joy. When she woke up Sunday morning the first words out of her mouth were tractor race. Bill just smiled and said it was to early for a race.I get her dressed and feed and she is out the door looking for Dzidzia, believe me he isn't far he's been patiently waiting for her.
I watch as they walk off to the back where her sand pile we call the beach is and I get a great idea. I hurry and get dressed and head to the barn. I walk in the first building and I don't see them and disappointment is about to set in when I remember Bill said he moved them so into the second building I go and there...I don't see them,I'm about to turn around and walk back to the house kicking stones all the way with my head down and pouting when I spot something all the way back in the corner.Sure enough it is just what I am looking for. I pull off the sheet and there shining up at me are our BIKES!
Oh and it is my lucky day the child seat is already attached to my bike and her helmet is sitting in the seat,as if we were just biking yesterday instead of the actual year that it has been. I hop on my bike and ride back to the sand pile, where Madeline is in her glory planting rocks to grow a rock garden. I can tell by the excitement in Bills voice he likes my idea, but Madeline is more interested in her gardening,so I hand my bike to Bill and he takes it back to the buildings to air up the tires and get his bike ready as well. Madeline and I finish planting the rocks and then we go to find Dzidzia.
It takes a few minutes to get Madeline all locked into the seat and get the helmet on and adjusted but then we are ready to go. Up the drive and onto the road then into the developments with the curvy roads and bike paths. While Bill and are not truly racing Madeline thinks we are,on the road Bill gives me the lead so that cars encounter him first,so to Madeline she and I are winning and she keeps looking back telling Bill that. (hehehe) In the developments Bill takes the lead and teases Madeline as he passes by,he gets a good distance ahead of us and I feel Madeline leaning around me and then I hear come on Granmama catch up, go faster don't be such a slow poke. All through the paths and developments Bill keeps the lead but we stay up close to him and that seems to be ok with her. She starts singing and swaying side to side and enjoying the ride. I had to ask not to sway she was tilting the bike at one point she was so into it. After about a quarter of an hour of meandering around the development we start to head on home,as we approach our driveway Madeline says she wants to keep riding so with a little protest from the peanut gallery behind me we ride a little bit more up the road and around the bend and then back home.
Madeline and I pulled in the driveway first and just as we are about to turn into the parking space in front of the back buildings Dzidzia comes whipping around the corner and hops off his bike and says he won. Madeline does not agree and the whole time we are undoing all the straps and buckles that keep her safe she is telling him so. It is so hard not to laugh out loud when I watch her talk to Dzidzia, she just knows she is the boss of him no matter what he says and it shows.
After the ride Bill and I have rubber legs heavy and hard to walk on but we are smiling at each other as we make our way to the house for water and soft chairs.
We finish the morning off with all three of us planting 3 flats of flowers in the front yard. Bill made the holes and we put the flowers in the holes. Madeline did a lot for a little girl and when she wasn't planting she was telling us how to plant.
It was Friendly's for lunch and Ice Cream and then naps all around. Dzidzia was a sleep before Madeline but only by seconds no stories needed her head hit the pillow and her eyes closed and she was sleeping like a baby.
Next week when she comes to visit not only will she see how well the flowers she planted are growing she will also see how much her rock garden grew, because you all know I can't resist I have to put rocks in that garden.

......Sorry no pictures I was just having way to much fun and forgot all about the camera.
chachijoanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05068138691691573779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847853833099842069.post-58228935794692527642012-05-31T18:00:00.002-04:002012-05-31T18:13:00.215-04:00The Great Race John Deere VS KubotaFor a few years now we have had a small John Deere tractor sitting in the barn just waiting for Madeline to be the right size to use it. Well this is the year, not only is she big enough to reach the gas pedal she has figured out how to make the pedal work and understands the concept of turning the wheel. A natural born driver.

The memory of this day will be with me forever and no doubt always make me laugh.

It started out simple enough, we got the tractor out for Madeline to ride and once again showed her how to make it go and stop.

I suggest we cut through the path in the field so she won't get stuck in the sand (plus it is a shorter trip around the yard and Granmama is running to keep up) it takes a little convincing but she follows along and onto the path we go.

Once we are back on the drive I get the brilliant idea to put the tractor in the faster gear meaning Granmama now has to run full out to keep up. All I see as we come around the bend back toward the barn is Bill standing there almost but not quite laughing shaking his head and holding up 2 fingers questioning the gear. He thinks she did it.Hehehe little does he know that was my brilliant idea and it is about to bloom into an even better idea.

She comes to a stop by bumping into Bill's leg then not getting off the tractor she looks up at him and politely says "Get on your tractor Dzidzia lets race, I got gears I can go fast." You know he could not resist such an offer and climbed right up on his big orange Kubota. She starts out in low gear having the lead just so I could get pictures, that only last until Dzidzia starts to pass her by then she wants her tractor in high gear the heck with pictures so I put it in high for her and try to take pictures at a full out run. As I am running and shooting pictures I don't miss the bright determination in her eyes or how she is leaning her entire body forward just willing her little John Deere to go faster or best of all exactly how much fun she is having. The race ends in the back garden with Dzidzai in the lead, that is ok with Madeline she carefully parks herself behind the big tractor sits there for a two beat count and she is off again like a driving maniac.
As I listened to farmers and gardeners alike talk about the harm a real good cold snap could cause,I was so very happy a real good cold snap didn't happen in most areas.

True my daffodils bloomed way to soon and the sudden drop in temperatures back to normal didn't do them any good and they where short lived. I only got 2 cutting out of them.

Everything else in my yard seems to have fared well. My tulips looked so very beautiful and lasted a good long time. For weeks they opened ever so gracefully in the warm spring sunshine to show their true beauty and then closing up all snug and tight in the moon light each night as if resting for the next day of showing off.

On a fine Sunday morning bright with blue skies, sunshine and the trees painted the colors of October we set out on our trip.Bill and I were both excited about this trip,we knew it was going to good we just didn't know how good.
From our home to Confluence PA where the B&B was located was a lazy 5 hour drive and we could not have asked for a better day for the ride. After leaving the city area traffic was light to none, once we were in the mountains the sky line and mountain range were so beautiful .The trees in all their fall glory made the mountains look like a rich and warm tapestry of color, the fluffy pink white clouds stretching across the mountain tops in a clear blue blue sky brought to mind the phrase purple mountain majesty making a perfect picture of fall and giving us a wonderful day filled with plenty of laughter and songs along the way.
To get to the B&B we traveled up and down the mountain and over single lane dirt roads that have 2 way traffic, along the river all the way back to the rail road tracks turning on to the private road that was yes a single lane 2 way road. We arrive at Paddlers Lane our B&B in the late afternoon, one word Charmed!
Our first thoughts as we look about and take it all in is "What fun we are going to love this.We love the river running along the back of the house and we think the train track running in the front of the house are so cool.Thoughts change. The house is warm and welcoming and we are invited to come in and make ourselves at home. Our room faces the train tracks and is nice the double is old fashioned and high up off the ground,we look at each other and shrug our shoulders and say how much time will we be in the room any way.Alot!
Our host made simple hot meals that were tasty and filling as well as enjoyable. The house itself sat on a large piece of land that encouraged walking along the bank of the river and being on a private road gave us the freedom to move about freely with out worrying about traffic.

If you read it you know that to keep her going the last few steps and the beginning few steps we tempted her with rocks. I have no idea why but rocks from the plainest to the fanciest intrigue my grand girl.So any way we kept her walking and going on this long trek by finding and placing in her coat pockets rocks to throw in the water from the bridges we found along our walk. By the end of the walk we had a very tired girl with a lot of rocks in her pockets(stones really size wise).I ended my story about the walk wondering what her parents would think of the heavyweight of her coat and the rock in her pockets.
Well I think they didn't wonder a thing, or for that fact notice that the coat was heavier then normal.I know this to be a fact because this Oct 2011 it snowed just before Halloween and when Madeline came to visit one day just after the snow wearing her winter coat from last year,I noticed as I went to hang it up that it was heavy and sure enough the stones were right there in her coat pockets where we left them.
I pulled them out of her pocket with a smile on my face that turned to a laugh of pure pleasure when Madeline saw them and loudly proclaimed "My rocks we got them on that walk in the Forrest mermember"chachijoanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05068138691691573779noreply@blogger.com0
